GENERAL DESCRIPTION SEKO SPRING/KOSMO back pressure/safety valve
The back pressure/safety valve is a special device used to control or limit the operating pressure in a dosing system. Otherwise, the operating pressure could build up and cause a process disturbance or equipment failure.
The back pressure/safety valve has the function of improving the working conditions of the system, allowing a constant working pressure to be maintained. It can also be used as a safety valve to prevent pressure peaks. In this case, the valve is installed in a bypass line.
The valve is designed to open at a predetermined pressure to protect the system from pressures exceeding its design limits. As the fluid is diverted, the pressure within the system will cease to rise; once it has reached the valve's reset pressure, the valve will close.
The back pressure/safety valve can be set to a pressure of up to 10 bar and a maximum flow rate of 1,500 L/H. With threaded or flanged connection.
Compatible with all models of Seko electromechanical metering pumps of the Spring and Kosmo series.
The parts in contact with the liquid have been chosen to ensure full compatibility with most commonly used chemicals. Due to the variety of chemicals on the market, it is recommended to check the chemical compatibility between the dosed product and the materials in contact. Please refer to the attached document "Chemical compatibility Seko bombs" for this information. If you have any questions, we will be pleased to answer them.
