SEKO DUOTEK 1 ½" GENERAL DESCRIPTION
The "DUOTEK" series pumps are double diaphragm positive displacement air operated pumps, designed and manufactured to pump fluids that are chemically compatible with the pump materials of construction.
DUOTEK diaphragm pumps are characterised by their exceptional performance, power and strength, making them ideal for pumping liquids with very high viscosity, up to 55,000 cps in the larger models, even if they contain solids in suspension.
The pneumatic stall prevention system ensures safe pump operation and requires no lubricated air. The ability to self-prime dry even with considerable suction lift, fine speed adjustment without pressure loss and the ability to run dry without damage mean that these pumps offer unrivalled versatility. In addition, the enormous variety of materials of construction allows selection of the optimum chemical compatibility with the fluid and/or environment.
They are specifically designed for demanding applications with high humidity or in potentially explosive atmospheres (ATEX Certification).
The pumps of the "DUOTEK" series are self-priming; on start-up the pipelines can be empty.
With flow rates from 8 to 1,000 litres per minute, which are easily adjusted thanks to intuitive controls, the Duotek air-operated double diaphragm pump offers process managers a versatile solution for almost any chemical dosing or liquid transfer application.
With no electrical components, Duotek can be completely submerged without affecting its performance, while the pump has an exceptional ability to handle highly viscous and abrasive liquids, including those containing suspended solids.
The air system is made entirely of plastic for robustness and corrosion resistance in aggressive environments.
All Duotek AODD pumps are wet tested to 100% after assembly, including priming and sealing. Thanks to its sealless design, Duotek can run dry up to 5 metres without damaging the pump or the overall system, while its fully bolted construction provides maximum safety and resistance to leakage.
As a portable and compact solution that is easy to install, operate and maintain, Duotek is ideal for use in multiple locations and can optionally be supplied with a trolley.
Pumps of the "DUOTEK" series cannot be used for vacuum generation.
Ensure that the physico-chemical characteristics of the fluid have been correctly assessed.
The pumps of the "DUOTEK" series (except models 18-50) are equipped with a flow regulator in the pneumatic supply circuit. The pumped fluid may contain suspended particles in different concentrations depending on the pump model.
