GENERAL DESCRIPTION

Blowers deliver large quantities of air or gas at constant volumes for pressure or vacuum applications, which can produce excessive noise. The silencer is used to control the noise associated with this equipment.

Manufactured from premium materials for a high quality product, our silencers, with threaded connections, are especially suitable for installation on blowers and vacuum generators, either by suction or compression. They consist of a galvanised metal outer body and partially enclosed, sound-absorbing polyurethane resin inner cells.

For special applications, the metal parts can be heat-treated. Depending on the type of installation of the blower unit (see the document "Blower installation diagram".), there are two types of silencers:

End silencer, for blowers working as air compressors.
In-line silencer, for blowers working as vacuum systems.
